Spotted at the IMM 1989 the untill then unrestored Broadspeed mini.
The owned by Colin Baines, who sold it to the Micklenburg brothers. They restored it and made a mould. The car was sold to Japan and the mould was used to make their “Downton GT” replica.
The only Broadspeed that was ever raced was the GTS (only one was ever made EOP88D) that after use by John Fitzpatrick and Tony Bloor, was sold to Tonio Hildebrand who sold it later to Arthur Banting.
